I have been working on sketching daily, most days I do get something on to paper. I have a stack of little squares of handmade paper which I use as the foundation for my sketches. The idea is to free my ideas and to start to explore new ideas and interpret items that I see in other peoples work. I use it as a way to practice themes I think would work well in my art. Here are a few of my favorites from January and February. I am thinking the whale and little birds may need to continue to run their course in my imagination, maybe a book in the making.
